The Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences), Peshawar, was established in May 1995 with the initial strength of 180 Students and only two programmes of Study. The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa awarded charter in 2002 and now it has total student strength of close to 2,000 students.
Location
IMSciences lies in the heart of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar and inside a vast colony called Hayatabad. The peaceful surrounding of Hayatabad gives more significance to educational atmosphere of the campus.
The city is linked to the main motorway as well as the Karakorum Highway from which it is connected to all of the major cities of Pakistan including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Multan. The roads are also linked to Afghanistan and China. Afghanistan is linked through the Khyber Pass, which is the main gateway for both cargo and passenger travel.

Facilities and Resources
Theatre Rooms
At all the corners of the Academic block there are Theatre Rooms on each floor. The theatre rooms are arc shaped. The theatre rooms are equipped with digital rostrums and multimedia projectors. The rooms are currently fitted with high quality digital boards which are touch sensitive and provides great facility for the teachers and students
Hostels
The IMSciences has two hostels, one for male students and the other for female students. Both are housed in the new campus supervised by wardens. They have phone lines and internet facilities along with a very conductive academic environment that is a residential extension of the intellectual culture within the IMSciences.
Computer Labs
In the institute there are currently five computer laboratories. All of them have got good dual core systems with access to fast speed internet. All the labs are equipped with air conditions. All computers within the campus are interconnected to a server which is controlled by the network administrator. Mainly the computers are Microsoft Windows XP based, some are multi booted consisting of Linux as well
