About University
Institute of Space Technology (IST) - a federally chartered degree awarding Institute established in 2002 under the aegis of PNSA. The programs offered are approved by The Higher Education Commission as well as The Pakistan Engineering Council.
Location
IST is located in Federal capital of Islamabad.
Islamabad is the greenest city of pakistan and the most planned one. The city is well-organized, being divided into different sectors and zones.The city is connected to Lahore and peshawar through Motorways - M2 and M1 respectively. Islamabad, being the capital of the country is home to federal parliament (National Assembly and Senate), Supreme Court, President's Secretariat, Prime Minister's Secretariat, and federal ministries, corporate offices of all major public and private, national and multinational organizations.

Auditorium
Aesthetically designed, fully air-conditioned auditorium with a capacity of 230 is located adjacent to the entrance lobby of the Academic Block. Various national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops are organized by inviting dignitaries and professionals. The auditorium is equipped with most modern audio-visual systems.
Specialized Laboratories
The academic program is supported by laboratories equipped with the state-of-the-art equipment. Multiple equipment and instruments are available to ensure hands-on training of each individual student. In addition to the labs for IT, Electronics, Instrumentation some of the high end laboratories include: Propulsion Lab, Antenna & Propagation Lab, CAD/ CAM Lab , Structural Dynamics Lab etc
Information Resource Center
Information Resource Centre is integrated with digital technology and electronic information resources. There is an active and continuous development program for the IRC. It has a dynamic collection of books, journals, magazines related to the two disciplines and are supplemented by the availability of a Xeroxing facility. The core design, furniture and general decor contribute to the formation of an intellectual environment that attracts students to study with concentration
About University
IBA (Institute of Business Adminstration) was established in 1955 with initial technical support provided by the world famous Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania; later, the University of Southern California set up various facilities at the Institute and several prominent American professors were assigned to the IBA. Initially started as a business school within the University of Karachi, IBA's status was elevated to become an independent, degree-granting institution in Pakistan in 1994 when it received a charter from the Sindh government.
Location
The main campus of IBA is located on University Road, Karachi. It also has City campus located on Garden Road, Karachi.
Karachi is the largest city of Pakistan and its financial capital. Karachi is country's main sea port with the area of over 1,300 Square Miles. Karachi is the nerve center of Pakistan's economy with major industries of textiles, shipping, automotive industry, entertainment, the arts, fashion, advertising, publishing, software development and medical research are located in and around the city. Karachi is linked by rail to the rest of the country by Pakistan Railways. The Karachi City Station and Karachi Cantonment Railway Station are the city's two major railway stations. Karachi also has an international airport called Jinnah International airport and it approximately handles 10 million passengers every year.

Facilities and Resources
Library
The IBA libraries contain more than thirty thousand books on business management and related subjects. The libraries subscribe to more than eighty international and forty-two local journals and periodicals.A computerized modern library management system that will enable the users to search for material much more quickly and efficiently is in the process of being installed. IBA libraries consist of 45,000 e-books and 17,000 online journals.
Placement Services
Placement Services at the IBA lends support to both prospective employees and employers. It also providers advice and assistance to the IBA’s existing students in terms of their placement in internship programs and jobs in various organization.
Student Residences
The IBA provider residential facilities for out-of-town full IBA students. The hostel is spread over and area of 1.75 acres with lush green lawns and is a short walk from the Main Campus. The hostel provides single accommodation for its students and has one hundred rooms. The hostel provides many facilities to its residents: it is equipped with a gymnasium and an indoor table tennis room. Students use the TV Lounge, which is equipped with a big screen television and a satellite decoder, to socialize and to play indoor games.
IT Infrastructure
The IBA's IT department provides computing facilities to staff, faculty, and students. It also develops plans with objectives and actions that help achieve a highly competitive and technology-intensive environment for the institute. Some of the services provided by this department include E-mail and Internet Service, IT Help Desk, Audio Visual Support, and Printing Services.
Transportation
The IBA has its own fleet of buses serving different routes for the convenience of the students. Besides this, private and public transport also serves both the campuses.
